inspiration board: espresso machines

First, thank you so much for all of your sweet comments yesterday. It means the world to me to have friends and family who are excited with us on this journey. :)

And now, for coffee. Because every day is a good day if it starts and ends with coffee. Right. No? Okay. But for real. Now that I'll be working from either my apartment or Savannah's condo every day, I would love to save up my allowance money to purchase an espresso machine. I just don't know what to get. So, I've created an inspiration board of espresso machines I've read up on and I would love it if I could get some of your advice or input on your favorite espresso machines too!

I especially love the espresso machines that have a milk container so that it brews your espresso and steams your milk at the same time. Yummy latte!!!
  1. Delonghi EC702 15-Bar-Pump Espresso Maker - $175
  2. Delonghi Die-Cast Pump Espresso with Cappuccino Feature - $499
  3. Breville ESP8XL Cafe Roma Stainless Espresso Maker - $278
  4. Lattissima Espresso Machine - $499
What do you think? Do you have an espresso machine? I would love to hear your thoughts!

  1. I own the Breville Cafe Roma and I couldn't be happier with it. I generally drink my espresso black, so I don't need the milk to steam while I brew. I do have to say, on the rare occasion that I do use milk, I very much enjoy steaming and frothing it by hand. There is something so fun about it!

  2. We have the Saeco Via Venezia and couldnt be happier as well. my hubby did TONS of research before buying it and we have had a few years of countless lattes from it. always amazing. I bought a fancy really adorable one before this one and it was horrible! I realized cute is not the way to go when it comes to machines... unfortunately.

  3. I don't own an espresso machine but I've heard so many great things about Breville products!! I think they have espresso machines at Williams Sonomas and maybe they would let you do a trial run to see if you'd like them! =)

  4. I also have the Saeco Via Venezia. I bought it after doing a lot of research on "quality" home espresso machines - with the understanding that a truly awesome machine runs upwards of $1000 ;) The Via Venezia is between $200-300 new. It pulls espresso very nicely and has a decent foam wand for being powered by a normal outlet.

  5. I don't know much about any other of those brands, but I have a Breville juicer, which I like very much. Seems to be a good kitchen gadget brand.
